Fillings

Cavities strike nearly everyone at one point or another, despite even the most careful, detailedbrushing habits. Cavities can cause pain and sensitivity to extreme temperatures. Unlike abrasions on the skin, cavities won't heal naturally. The decay must be removed and the tooth restored with a filling. Left untreated, a cavity will spread and can lead to serious infection.

If your tooth has decay, Dr.Chris and Dr. Matt will recommend a filling, inlay, onlay, or crown. Composite fillings are made from tooth-colored resin instead of metal, like traditional amalgam fillings. This means that after your dental work to correct the filling is complete, only you and Dr. Chris or Dr. Matt will know where you had a cavity! Composite fillings contain no harmful mercury, and the procedure takes only one visit.
