Giving Back

Because Great Service Doesn’t End in the Office

Dr. Chris and Dr. Matt are passionate about making a difference in people's lives, and they just can’t leave their work at the office!

Dr. Chris and Dr. Matt volunteer with Christina’s Smile, a non-profit organization that provides free dental care to children in need. Christina’s Smile operates in conjunction with the PGA Tour and Champions Tour to provide dental exams and procedures to children who cannot afford them in the communities that host a PGA or Champions Tour.

The Millers also work with an organization known as the Lost Boys of Sudan. In 2001, the International Rescue Committee rescued 3,800 “Lost Boys” (named after the Peter Pan movie) from Sudan and placed them in approximately 100 cities around the US. Before being brought to the United States, these young men were forced to flee from their native Sudan at a very young age, many between six-and eleven-years-old, and walk hundreds of miles in an attempt to survive the civil war in Sudan.

Many of these young men had five or six of their bottom front teeth extracted in tribal ceremonies, and they are now struggling to eat American food and speak English properly. Through the volunteer work of dentists like Dr. Chris and Dr. Matt, the Lost Boys of Sudan are receiving replacement teeth and enjoying new smiles.

Additionally, Dr. Chris takes a weeklong mission trip to Mexico each year, and Dr. Matt takes a weeklong mission trip to Romania. Dental care can absolutely change a person’s life, and Dr. Chris and Dr. Matt are dedicated to spreading that superior care as far and wide as possible.
