Typically, porcelain veneer placement requires two visits to our Plano dental office. At your first visit, Dr. Miller may suggest that you bring pictures, perhaps from magazines or other sources that show the kind of smile you want. We can create a digital image for you to preview the potential results of your veneers, and we can adjust the size and shape of the veneers in the image as part of treatment planning. Dr. Miller will consult with you on the size, shape, and color for your new smile, and together you'll create a plan that will give you the smile of your dreams.
Porcelain veneers are designed to create your ideal smile, yet they are still a conservative treatment that removes the least amount of tooth enamel possible. We may reduce the enamel of the front teeth to create an esthetic and healthy emergence profile. This ensures a beautiful and natural look of the new restorations. A talented ceramist will use quality, light-reflecting porcelain to handcraft your custom veneers according to Dr. Chris and Dr. Matt’s specifications, creating a masterpiece. On your second visit, the temporaries will be removed, and your new, permanent veneers will be bonded to your teeth.
